The Caerphilly Business Forum is pleased to welcome Lowri Jones and Huw Rowlands to the Borough on Tuesday 6th February 2018 at Coleg y Cymoedd, Nantgarw Campus.
This is the eighth in our set of new breakfast seminars where we aim to provide insightful and helpful seminars that can help businesses throughout Caerphilly.
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Menter Iaith Sir Caerffili was established in 1999 to support and increase the use of the Welsh language across the communities of Caerphilly Borough. Our aim is to regenerate the Welsh language by developing opportunities for people of all ages to use the Welsh language within their communities.
As part of a new project by Menter Iaith Sir Caerffili we will be supporting local businesses to increase their use of the Welsh language in addition to supporting those businesses which are able to provide Welsh medium services locally. The project is funded by the Welsh Government and the rural community funding between 2014 – 2020 and also part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe Investing in Rural Areas.
During the presentation we aim to highlight the importance and benefits of using the Welsh language within business as a unique marketing tool and how it provides a clear advantage in terms of engaging with Welsh speaking customers. We will also discuss the support available which will enable local businesses to take practical steps to increase their use of the Welsh language.
The presentation will discuss our new project and how we have designed a step by step scheme to get you on the road to a bilingual business.
