The Award will be given to the individual that, in the opinion of the Judges, has demonstrated outstanding and consistent achievement, particularly over the last twelve months, or that shows the greatest promise for the future.

 

Women in Business

The winner will be someone who can encourage and motivate other women whether she is an employee or runs her own business. Someone who may work behind the scenes but is vital to the smooth running of the business. Women are sometimes reticent to highlight their abilities, this is the chance for them to shine.

 

Contribution to the Rural Economy

The Award will be given to the business who has made a positive, creative or innovative impact on the rural economy of Caerphilly County Borough. We are looking for evidence of long-term commitment to Caerphilly’s rural areas and evidence of the success of the enterprise in supporting or promoting other rural enterprises and initiatives.

Recognition in this award will be given for the individual who has an outstanding contribution and commitment to their workplace. This will be an individual who has demonstrated exceptional levels of achievement and attainment as an apprentice.

This award will recognise and reward an IT initiative that can demonstrate an innovative new product, solution or service that has delivered measurable benefit for business users or customers in areas such as application development, e-commerce, hosting, or web-based services.
